During our Rec Diving trip to the Straits of Mackinac, WXYZ-TV videographer Chris Jones captured his dives on video with an incredibly compact Hero head-mounted camera. It was really cool! Rec Diving trip leader Frank Aloia shared with Chris his knowledge about the history of wrecks, and we were all excited to see some of our favorite dives featured on the local news.

Since their release in February of this year, these little powerhouses have been one of the most talked about items here at Rec Diving. People love the Solas because of their light weight and compact size, but they sometimes shy away from these beauties when they compare them pricewise to the other LED lights.
